Every day, we make the dreams of thousands of clients and entrepreneurs who visit our stores, platforms, websites, and apps to buy and sell with us. We believe Integrity, Transparency, and Respect are principles that define our way of delivering these dreams. Therefore, they are central in everything we do at Grupo Casas Bahia. The Integrity Program is an instance of Corporate Governance and Risk Management structure at Grupo Casas Bahia, and it is based on the three lines of defense governance model. As a part of the second line of defense, the program is based on those principles. Additionally, this is reflected in our Code of Ethical Conduct, as well as in all program policies and actions, aim to guide, inspire and engage behavior and decision-making following the highest standards of ethical conduct. This is the Grupo Casas Bahia way of being!
Integrity Program Structure
Aligned with market best practices, the Grupo Casas Bahia Integrity Program is structured as a set of mechanisms and procedures to Prevent, Detect, and Respond to non-conformities, seeking not only to protect Grupo Casas Bahia’s financial and reputational assets, but also to ensure the maintenance of integrity in our work environments and in all relationships we establish with our stakeholders. The mechanisms and procedures of the Grupo Casas Bahia Integrity Program are also divided into a set of essential pillars for its proper functioning:
Program guidelines
All internal guidelines of the Integrity Program are periodically reviewed and published in Grupo Casas Bahia’s intranet, accessible to all employees without exception. Our guidelines cover different topics related to prevent corruption, fraud, harassment, conflicts of interest, offering and receiving gifts, donations and sponsorships, among other relevant topics to our business, being comprehensive and interdepartmental. Integrity commitments made by Grupo Casas Bahia
In the scope of the Grupo Casas Bahia Integrity Program, we highlight initiatives that we adhere to reaffirm our commitment to Integrity, Transparency and Respect. Since September 2021, we have been signatories of the UN Global Pact, through which we commit to aligning our strategies and operations with the ten universal principles derived from: the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Labor Organization’s Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, the Rio Declaration on Environment and Development, and the United Nations Convention Against Corruption. We also commit to contributing to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. In June 2022, we joined the Business Pact for Integrity and Against Corruption of the Ethos Institute, committing to disseminate Brazilian anti-corruption legislation to our stakeholders, as well as to prohibit any form of bribery and prioritize transparency of information and collaboration with investigations.

Grupo Casas Bahia Whistleblowing Channel
Available 24×7 to all internal and external Grupo Casas Bahia stakeholders, this channel is exclusively used to report ethical and integrity misconduct or general situations that are not in accordance with Grupo Casas Bahia’s Code of Ethical Conduct, its guidelines, or any applicable legislation related to our business. To ensuring its independence and impartiality, an external provider operates the Whistleblowing Channel. All reports made in good faith will be investigated, always following the best ethical and technical practices, and the anonymity of the whistleblower and non-retaliation will be guaranteed.
